Jausel Wedding {JB Photography}
I had the great honor of photographing Kim and Bryan’s wedding. The wedding took place at The Oriental Gardens at Gordon Moore Park. The day was warm but beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple or family to photograph! One of the things I always try to capture at weddings is the groom’s reaction when the bride walks down the aisle. The ceremony

Maggie and Rocky {JB Photography}
This year has been a big year for me when it comes to pet and animal photography. I have really found the joy of photographing people’s furry friend, so when Maggie and Rocky came to me for a session I was excited. Working with dogs is similar to working with toddlers. They are hyper and have a plan on their own. But, that is the fun in my job and I am always up for a challenge. Rocky was a sweetheart, though we had to do some coxing to look at the camera but as you can see we managed to capture some great photos of Maggie and Rocky!

Megan and Jr {JB Photography)
Megan and Jr have been using my services for some time now. They are always so much fun to work with and I love coming up with new and creative setups for them. I just so happened to get a brand new teepee that I was excited to try out so I decided to set it up for this session. We also used a new location that I never used before in Edwardsville and found it absolutely

Watson Wedding {JB Photography}
I always adore photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Chris and Elaina

Simply Sweet Mini Sessions {JB Photography}
Simply sweet mini sessions are one of my favorite mini sessions I hold each year. It really brings me back to when I first started out and used very little props. I really enjoy having the focus on the families that I photograph as that is what I want people to look back on, the people and not the props. As you can see I had some very lovely families this year! Everyone showed up ready to smile! Thankfully for the first day the weather was wonderful. The sun was shinning and it wasn’t too hot. But unfortunately the second day was a bit different. Thankfully I was able…

Look who is 2! {JB Photography}
Let me begin by saying that I had the greatest time doing the session I’m about to post. I have worked with the Jr before and I always love every minute of it and this session was no different. This session we used Gordon Moore Park. They have some great trees that give us a wonderful background and also some well-needed shade on hot days. Jr Loves Paw Patrol, playing outside and bath time.

Headley Family {JB Photography}
Hi again, Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That’s true of my session with the Headley family, too! I met up with them at Gordon Moore Park and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. We had the perfect sunny and warm day that made for excellent

Jarret Class of 2018 {JB Photography}
Welcome back! Today I want you to meet Jarret. Athletic, funny and handsome are the words that come to mind when I think about this young man. Jarret is a senior at Civic Memorial High School. Jarret enjoys running track, fishing, and weightlifting. In fact, he holds state records in the state of Illinois! For Jarrett’s session, he chose three locations that fit his personality perfectly. We started off at Lewis and Clark College, then headed to downtown Alton, we then ended up at the high school. Jarrett was so very laid back for his session and his personality fit the locations perfectly! Jarret says the one thing he…
