    Maggie and Rocky {JB Photography}

    This year has been a big year for me when it comes to pet and animal photography. I have really found the joy of photographing people’s furry friend, so when Maggie and Rocky came to me for a session I was excited. Working with dogs is similar to working with toddlers. They are hyper and have a plan on their own. But, that is the fun in my job and I am always up for a challenge. Rocky was a sweetheart, though we had to do some coxing to look at the camera but as you can see we managed to capture some great photos of Maggie and Rocky!

    Simply sweet mini sessions are one of my favorite mini sessions I hold each year. It really brings me back to when I first started out and used very little props. I really enjoy having the focus on the families that I photograph as that is what I want people to look back on, the people and not the props.     Let me begin by saying that I had the greatest time doing the session I’m about to post. I have worked with the Jr before and I always love every minute of it and this session was no different. This session we used Gordon Moore Park. They have some great trees that give us a wonderful background and also some well-needed shade on hot days.     Jr Loves Paw Patrol, playing outside and bath time.

    Welcome back! Today I want you to meet Jarret. Athletic, funny and handsome are the words that come to mind when I think about this young man. Jarret is a senior at Civic Memorial High School. Jarret enjoys running track, fishing, and weightlifting. In fact, he holds state records in the state of Illinois! For Jarrett’s session, he chose three locations that fit his personality perfectly.
